The Competition distinction matters. The Competition took the S55 engine from the M3 and M4 rather than the earlier N55, along with the M3's cooling pack, different brakes, seats and trim. A part off a pre-Competition car will not always suit a Competition and the reverse is equally true — particularly anything engine, cooling or brake related.

Because the F87 Competition shares the S55 with the F80 M3 and F82 M4, some of what we hold on our M3 and M4 page will fit an M2 Competition too. If you are not certain, send us your registration before you order and we will check it against the part.
